Chapter Master Drakur Kanotae Redragon

Drakur Redragon began his career as a Blood Angels neophyte.  His particular specialty was slightly outside the normal range, as he found himself skilled in use of heavy weaponry.  Among the many to choose from, he found the usage of the Lascannon to be particularly suited to his style.  High powered and accurate, its capability against vehicle and heavy infantry alike kept his interest moreso than any other weapon.

Over time, however, he was transferred to the various other squads and functions.  He excelled in assault, as did most Blood Angels, but he missed his favorite weapon.  When he achieved his veteran status, he was granted the rank of Sergeant.  He transferred to a Devastator squad immediately and guided them through many successful missions, earning him the nickname of the "Armor Slayer".

Drakur would eventually be granted command of his chapter, which he guided through its infancy alongside the remnants of the Auretian Technocracy after freeing them from the yoke of Chaos.  His combat style shifted to that of the Dante, Chapter Master of the Blood Angels, but his love was still with heavy weaponry.  To that end, he began to employ more and more the forces of the Technocracy and their heavy weapons to support his own numbers.  Even now, the screaming jump packs of his assault squads are frequently drowned out by the thundering barrages of Basilisks and Leman Russes dishing out heavy weapon fire.
